The Ozzie Albies Foundation was founded by Andreia Albies and Ozzie Albies, united by their lifelong passion for animal rescue. Growing up in Curaçao and Brazil—countries heavily affected by the challenges of stray dog populations—Ozzie and Andreia saw countless street dogs suffering without help. These experiences sparked a deep desire to make a lasting impact.
In February 2022, their dream became a reality with the official launch of the Ozzie Albies Foundation. Since then, we have partnered with local county shelters to raise awareness about the importance of adoption and provide critical support to animals and their future families.
Our Impact and Initiatives
We are proud to offer a variety of resources to adopters, including assistance with veterinary care and sponsored professional training sessions to help dogs and their new families thrive. Through community events, we continue to spread awareness about animal rescue and promote responsible pet ownership.
The Best Chance Program
One of our signature initiatives is the Best Chance Program, designed to go beyond rescue by prioritizing rehabilitation and long-term success. This program, in collaboration with our trusted partners at Mirror Image K9, focuses on ensuring that every dog receives the training, care, and attention they need to live fulfilling lives. Our goal is to match each dog with a loving home committed to providing lifelong care and companionship.
Ongoing Support and Community
Our commitment to our adopters doesn’t end with an adoption. We provide ongoing support, resources, and guidance to ensure that every dog continues to thrive in their forever home. Our greatest achievement is the compassionate and supportive community we’ve built—one that stands by our mission and helps us continue to make a meaningful difference.
Our Vision
At the Ozzie Albies Foundation, we believe in more than just rescuing animals—we believe in creating brighter futures for them. Every success story reflects our unwavering commitment to love, care, and second chances. Together, we’re building a world where every dog gets the life they deserve.
